AI for engineering companies.

Engineering firms run on technical documentation, specifications, supplier correspondence, and decades of accumulated know-how. AI is uniquely well-suited to unlocking that — if you can deploy it without giving away IP.

What we focus on

  • Technical-documentation AI — engineers find answers in 20-year-old machine manuals, SOPs, supplier specs in seconds rather than hours. Particularly powerful with Private AI given IP sensitivity.
  • Specification-comparison assistants — ingest tender specs, prior offers, supplier datasheets; produce side-by-side comparisons.
  • Supplier correspondence summarisers — multi-thread email chains, multi-language traffic (DE / EN / ZH / KO), supplier-quality issue classification.
  • EU AI Act for embedded AI — when AI sits inside a product you ship, Annex IV documentation, Annex III risk classification, conformity declarations. See our EU AI Act page.
  • CRA preparation — SBOM disclosure, secure software lifecycle, vulnerability handling. Full CRA enforcement 11 September 2027; penalties up to €15M or 2.5% of global turnover. See our manufacturing page for the deep dive.

Infrastructure note

Most engineering firms we work with already have on-prem infrastructure (PDM, PLM, CAD systems). Private AI fits naturally into that landscape and avoids the "now our drawings live in OpenAI" conversation that nobody wants to have with the IP lawyer.

Where to start

For engineering firms with shipped AI in products, the EU AI Act consulting packages are often the first call. For internal productivity AI, the AI Readiness Assessment maps the landscape and the Private AI & Infrastructure Package designs the on-prem stack.
